UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct discovery activities, including user interviews, problem framing, and usability testing with internal staff.

• Take ownership of the entire design process — from research and wireframes to prototypes, specifications, handoff, and post-launch validation.

• Create data-rich interfaces, encompassing dashboards, configuration workflows, RBAC, audit trails, and threat data representation screens, as well as mobile screens for eKYC and mobile authentication workflows.

• Ensure a cohesive design system in Figma across the entire V-Key product suite.

• Develop and maintain design system components utilizing technologies such as React and Tailwind.

• Implement small UI adjustments directly, including typography, spacing, color, and micro-interactions.

• Prototype intricate interactions in code when Figma does not meet requirements.

• Evaluate frontend pull requests for design quality and accessibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing B2B, enterprise, or SaaS products.

• A portfolio showcasing at least 3 case studies or projects that illustrate the complete process from problem framing to research, iteration, and outcomes, including metrics where applicable.

• Proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, and design tokens.

• Experience with data-rich interfaces such as dashboards, tables, filters, and configuration flows.

• Practical experience with React and Tailwind; capable of shipping component code independently.

• Experience in contributing to a design system in code, utilizing tools like Storybook, component libraries, and design tokens.

• Ability to work asynchronously across various time zones (Singapore, Vietnam, India).

• Self-motivated and comfortable being the sole designer in a team setting.

• Preferred: Experience in cybersecurity, fintech, or other regulated domains; exposure to FIDO2/passkey UX; mobile UX experience (Android/iOS).
