UiPath Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business processes and operational workflows to discover automation possibilities and suggest UiPath-based solutions.

• Create comprehensive automation architectures that utilize attended bots, unattended bots, orchestrated automations, Computer Vision, AI-driven automation features, and Document Understanding.

• Design, test, deploy, and sustain UiPath automation solutions across various enterprise environments.

• Review current attended automations and devise migration strategies to convert processes into scalable unattended automation platforms.

• Diagnose, optimize, and refine existing UiPath bots to enhance reliability, performance, maintainability, and operational efficiency.

• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve automation failures, production incidents, and bot performance challenges.

• Develop and implement Document Understanding solutions to automate the extraction, classification, validation, and processing of both structured and unstructured documents.

• Apply Computer Vision automation capabilities to facilitate the automation of legacy applications, virtual environments, and systems with limited integration options.

• Create reusable automation components, workflows, frameworks, and best practices to promote enterprise automation scalability.

• Assist in configuring automation infrastructure, managing Orchestrator, scheduling bots, handling credential management, and conducting operational monitoring activities.

• Partner with business stakeholders to document requirements, process flows, automation prospects, technical designs, and implementation methods.

• Aid in technical discovery sessions and process evaluations to assess automation feasibility and outline implementation roadmaps.

• Support automation testing, user acceptance testing, production deployment, and post-implementation support tasks.

• Identify automation risks, dependencies, operational limitations, and integration factors throughout the project lifecycle.

• Foster positive working relationships with clients, delivery teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams while supporting critical business operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree along with 4 years of relevant experience.

• Alternatively, an additional 2 years of experience with an Associate’s Degree.

• Alternatively, an additional 4 years of experience with a high school diploma.

• Proven experience in designing, developing, implementing, or supporting UiPath automation solutions.

• Experience in supporting attended and unattended automation deployments within enterprise settings.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing existing RPA solutions.

• Experience in gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and converting business needs into automation solutions.

• Competence in developing technical documentation, workflow diagrams, solution designs, and implementation documentation.

• Familiarity with APIs, application integrations, databases, web services, or enterprise applications.

• Experience in supporting software development lifecycle activities, testing, deployment, and production support.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Preferred Qualifications or Skills: UiPath Automation Solution Architect Professional certification.

• UiPath Automation Developer Professional certification.

• UiPath Business Analyst certification.
