Technical Support Engineer – Building Automation Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Offer technical expertise to resolve intricate issues and empower local branches to provide exceptional service to their customers.

• Collaborate with headquarters staff to create and document best practices related to networking and the implementation of technical solutions.

• Design and assist in the creation of sustainable solutions to meet customer requirements.

• Engage proactively with internal and external clients to comprehend their needs and suggest and plan improvements to their systems and processes.

• Deliver technical support for the ALFO Branch Offices as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with over 5 years of experience in BAS technical support OR a High School Diploma/GED with over 10 years of experience in BAS technical support.

• Outstanding time management abilities.

• In-depth technical knowledge of BAS network protocols (including BACnet/IP, BACnet/MSTP, BACnet/Arcnet, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, Lonworks, and N2).

• Solid understanding of remote connection methods and industry best practices.
