UI Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual UI testing in development, QA, Ephemeral Cluster, and pre-production settings.

• Assess layout consistency, navigation flows, accessibility features, and overall usability.

• Record defects, outcomes, and reproducible steps in GitLab.

• Review and collaborate on automated test suites developed with VS Code, identifying UI deficiencies or required enhancements.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the testing strategy, readiness criteria, and validation of user workflows.

• Assist in testing for AVD, LaunchPad 2.0, and other application-specific interfaces.

• Maintain UI test cases, workflows, and testing documentation in SharePoint.

• Collaborate with developers and automation engineers to address UI and environment-specific challenges.

• Aid in the creation, organization, and upkeep of user guides, onboarding resources, and internal documentation across SharePoint and GitLab.

• Collect technical information and transform it into clear, user-friendly content that aligns with Agile methodologies.

• Identify gaps in documentation, ensure uniformity, and contribute to continuous content enhancements.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.

• Over 3 years of experience in manual UI or functional testing.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify usability or visual issues.

• Familiarity with GitLab for tracking issues and documenting tests.

• Experience in reviewing or collaborating on automated test suites, preferably with VS Code.

• Knowledge of Agile development processes.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with UX and engineering teams.

• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.

• Bachelor’s Degree required.

• Successful completion of a background check, including criminal history and identity verification.
