UI / Product Designer – Visual & Design Systems Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ethiopia.

📋 Description

• Transform wireframes into high-fidelity designs utilizing Figma

• Develop sleek, contemporary, and uniform UI across all screens

• Create and manage a scalable design system (including components, styles, and tokens)

• Organize files using appropriate auto-layout, components, and naming conventions

• Prepare designs for seamless developer handoff (well-organized, clear, and export-ready)

• Maintain consistency in spacing, typography, and interaction patterns

• Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and can be implemented effectively

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in designing web or mobile applications (beyond marketing/graphics)

• High level of proficiency in Figma (including auto-layout, components, variants, styles)

• Capability to convert wireframes into polished, high-fidelity UI

• Strong grasp of visual design principles (spacing, typography, hierarchy, color)

• Experience in building or contributing to a design system

• - **Ability to produce developer-ready design files**

• - Neat, well-structured layers and naming conventions

• - Effective use of auto-layout and constraints

• - Ability to follow guidance while enhancing the visual quality
