UI Designer Internship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Transform conceptual wireframes and user flows into high-fidelity, pixel-perfect visual designs for both desktop and mobile web platforms.

• Develop, maintain, and expand our cloud-based UI component library and design system in Figma to ensure visual consistency across all digital interfaces.

• Produce interactive, high-fidelity prototypes to effectively showcase micro-interactions, animations, and user journeys to stakeholders.

• Collaborate asynchronously with front-end developers to provide assets, review code implementation, and ensure design integrity during the launch process.

• Conduct visual QA testing on various browsers and devices to identify and document layout bugs or alignment discrepancies.

• Engage in design reviews, presenting your work and integrating feedback from creative directors and cross-functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

• Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS constraints to ensure that designs can be realistically implemented by developers.

• Outstanding eye for minimalist, luxury visual aesthetics, whitespace, and layout hierarchy.

• High level of self-motivation with the ability to independently manage design timelines in a remote work setting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey design decisions to cross-functional teams.
