UE5 Game Developer/Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create gameplay systems, interactions, animations, UI, UMG, and physics for an advanced first-person VR flight simulation experience.

• Assist in shaping virtual environments.

• Prototype interactions and enhance user experiences by balancing realism, usability, and immersion.

• Implement realistic simulation systems and immersive environments using Unreal Engine 5.

• Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and fellow engineers.

• Deliver high-quality features and content within a multidisciplinary team.

• Contribute to a sophisticated simulation project utilizing real-time technology and interactive design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in game development using Unreal Engine 5.

• Proficient in C++ and Blueprint scripting.

• Proven history of delivering features across various development areas.

• Experience in implementing gameplay systems, player interactions, and object behaviors.

• Solid understanding of animation systems, state machines, animation blueprints, and character interactions within Unreal Engine.

• Familiarity with UI systems and Unreal Widgets (UMG).

• Knowledge of physics-driven gameplay and simulation principles.

• Excellent debugging, optimization, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to work effectively across gameplay, assets, tools, and technical challenges.

• Comfortable collaborating with designers, artists, and engineers.

• Experience in developing VR titles in Unreal Engine (preferred).

• Experience with first-person experiences, vehicle gameplay, or flight simulation projects (preferred).

• Experience supporting technical design workflows and collaborating with Technical Designers (preferred).
