Turnarounds Technical Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Coordinate, plan, and lead turnaround projects within an onsite setting.

• Manage service and parts needs for turnaround projects.

• Oversee Zeeco personnel and third-party contractors at the site.

• Ensure compliance with HSE standards on site and take responsibility for safety.

• Provide support for onsite surveys and preliminary visits as necessary.

• Review project-specific contractual obligations and ensure Zeeco fully meets client expectations.

• Generate documentation, including written reports, inspection reports, and RAMS.

• Collaborate with other departments within Zeeco (such as QC, Projects & Drafting).

• Drive business development efforts primarily in the Benelux region.

• Conduct and maintain preliminary works on our equipment between projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.

• Proven experience in refineries and chemical plants.

• Mechanical expertise, with a solid understanding of practices and standards for refineries and chemical plants.

• Experience in customer-facing roles.

• Familiarity with turnarounds, shutdowns, and maintenance activities (Mechanical or Electrical).

• Previous experience with fired equipment (all O.E.M) is advantageous.

• Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes is a plus.

• Demonstrated leadership ability in field execution and turnaround scenarios.

• Capability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and installations.

• Strong problem-solving orientation with a proactive approach.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Commercially aware with a customer-centric mindset.

• Comfortable working both independently and within a team.

• Willingness to learn from senior engineers and advance within a dynamic team.

• Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient under pressure.
