This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.
• Serve as the ultimate escalation point for intricate technical challenges associated with Cloud infrastructure and services.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve high-level incidents involving compute, storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Analyze logs, metrics, and configurations to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Take ownership of high-severity incidents and coordinate resolution efforts with Engineering, DevOps, SRE, and Operations teams.
• Contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) and develop preventive action plans.
• Assist in the deployment, upgrades, and maintenance of production Cloud environments.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to replicate issues and verify fixes.
• Mentor and support Level 1 and Level 2 Support Engineers.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Cloud infrastructure support, system administration, or technical operations.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies: Compute (VMs, Containers, Kubernetes), Networking (VPCs, load balancers, routing, DNS, firewalls), Storage (object, block, databases), and Security (IAM, encryption, best practices).
• Proficient hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with at least one major Cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack, VMware Cloud).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher.
• Preferred: Automation and scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.
• Understanding of ITIL incident and problem management.
