This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +14 more states.
• Assist with intricate tax matters related to trusts, estates, gifts, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Emphasize on review, planning, research, and client service.
• Collaborate closely with clients, partners, and team members to provide tax compliance, planning, consulting, and relationship management services.
• Act as a technical resource for designated client relationships with oversight and support from partners.
• Evaluate complex tax returns, investigate technical tax issues, support planning initiatives, and offer clear guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Over 5 years of recent public accounting experience with a specialization in trust and estate tax.
• Proficient in handling trust, estate, and gift tax issues.
• Capable of reviewing tax returns for high-net-worth individuals.
• Strong skills in research, writing, and communication.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships.
• Experience in supervising, mentoring, and developing team members.
• A valid CPA or JD is required.
