Tax Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee tax engagements and act as a reliable advisor for clients.

• Establish strong relationships with rapidly expanding businesses, accomplished entrepreneurs, and family offices.

• Provide top-notch tax compliance and consulting services.

• Manage quarterly tax projections and address ad hoc client inquiries.

• Coordinate and supervise the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns.

• Ensure the precise and timely submission of tax filings.

• Identify and apply process enhancements in tax procedures.

• Offer expert guidance and assistance to clients.

• Maintain availability during standard business hours to address client needs.

• Mentor and train associates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Taxation.

• CPA or CPA candidate (REQUIRED).

• At least 6+ years of experience in public accounting (REQUIRED).

• Proven experience in a client-facing role, communicating with business leaders through email, phone, and video calls.

• Tech-savvy and capable of quickly learning new software.

• Comfortable utilizing technology in general.

• Ability to work autonomously.

• Capability to mentor and train associates.

• Experience with CCH Axcess (preferred).

• Familiarity with SafeSend Suite (preferred).

• Prior experience with small to medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, startups, family offices, and individual owners (preferred).
