This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee all facets of insurance defense litigation from the initiation of cases to the final verdict.
• Collect and organize documents, evidence, and conduct legal research pertinent to cases.
• Perform legal research on applicable laws and produce summaries and reports.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and various legal documents.
• Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses while maintaining records of communications.
• Participate in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Possession of a Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
• Completion of courses emphasizing legal research, writing, and analysis.
• Excellent time management abilities, adept at juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in organizing case files and managing legal documentation.
• Basic negotiation skills and strategies for effective client interactions.
• Must be within a commutable distance to courthouses located throughout the Miami, FL area.
