Tree Care Technician – Groundhand

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the safe and efficient operations within the 'Drop Zone'.

• Transition from basic debris management to complex technical rigging and operation of heavy equipment.

• Ensure that tree removals and pruning are performed without causing injury or property damage.

• Maintain comprehensive situational awareness of both the 'Drop Zone' and 'Chipper Zone'.

• Conduct daily cleaning, fueling, and basic maintenance ('field-stripping') of power tools.

• Safely drag, stack, and feed brush into the chipper using appropriate feeding techniques.

• Employ standardized hand signals and voice communication with the climber.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift over 75 lbs.

• Possession of a valid Texas Driver’s License.

• Willingness to acquire EHAP (Electrical Hazards Awareness Program) and First Aid/CPR certification.
