📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and nurture the Treasury team, offering continuous feedback, performance management, and support for career development.

• Set team priorities and ensure the efficient execution of daily treasury operations, reporting, and strategic initiatives.

• Promote a culture of accountability, ongoing improvement, and operational excellence within the Treasury department.

• Appropriately delegate responsibilities while maintaining strong oversight of controls, compliance, and service levels.

• Collaborate with Finance leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development within Treasury.

• Act as the main escalation point for treasury operational issues and complex banking matters.

• Encourage knowledge sharing, documentation, and cross-training initiatives to enhance team resilience and scalability.

• Manage and supervise daily cash positioning and liquidity management across over 30 domestic and international bank accounts.

• Direct cash forecasting processes for both short and long-term needs, partnering with FP&A and business stakeholders to enhance forecast precision and support strategic planning.

• Formulate recommendations for cash deployment, working capital optimization, and liquidity strategies.

• Guarantee timely execution and approval of external and intercompany wire transfers, ACH transactions, and other treasury activities in line with company policies and controls.

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for banking partners, focusing on service enhancements, fee optimization, and evaluations of treasury products.

• Oversee all bank account administration activities, including account openings, closures, KYC compliance, signatory management, and governance of banking platforms.

• Assess and implement treasury management solutions and banking services that enhance efficiency, controls, and scalability.

• Act as the administrator and strategic owner of corporate card programs and associated banking services.

• Supervise treasury reporting, including cash forecasts, liquidity metrics, debt reporting, and management reporting packages.

• Collaborate with Accounting to facilitate month-end close activities, cash reconciliations, journal entries, statement of cash flows, and audit requirements.

• Ensure adherence to treasury policies, internal controls, and banking regulations.

• Monitor fraud prevention tools, Positive Pay exceptions, and treasury control activities to mitigate operational and financial risks.

• Spearhead treasury transformation initiatives that enhance scalability, operational efficiency, internal controls, and the overall employee experience.

• Advocate for an AI-first approach within Treasury by identifying opportunities to utilize AI, automation, and emerging technologies to streamline processes, enhance forecasting and reporting, improve decision-making, and minimize manual efforts.

• Evaluate, recommend, and implement technological solutions that boost productivity, strengthen risk management practices, and address the evolving needs of the business.

• Collaborate across departments with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, Procurement, People, and Technology teams to drive process improvements and advance strategic business initiatives.

• Establish and uphold treasury policies, procedures, and governance frameworks that promote operational excellence, compliance, and sustainable growth.

• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by fostering innovation, data-driven decision-making, and the adoption of new tools and methodologies across the Treasury team.

• Provide guidance, mentorship, and functional leadership to Staff Accountants within the Cash Application function and other finance team members as needed.

• Support financing transactions, acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic corporate initiatives.

• Deliver insights and recommendations to Finance leadership regarding liquidity, risk management, banking strategy, and treasury operations.

• Lead special projects and conduct ad hoc financial analyses as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, or accounting, including at least 1 year of recent Treasury experience.

• Prior experience at a company with annual revenue between $250M and $350M, preferably private equity-backed and within the SaaS sector.

• Proven experience in managing cash forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships.

• Strong comprehension of treasury operations, cash management practices, internal controls, and financial reporting.

• Experience in building and refining forecasts within intricate treasury functions, utilizing both data-driven analysis and strategic judgment, and collaborating across the finance department to ensure accuracy.

• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Capability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

• Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Demonstrated ability to leverage technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency, drive process improvements, and improve business outcomes.

• Possess a growth mindset with a readiness to learn, adopt, and promote emerging technologies and innovative working methods.

• Ability to work standard business hours (8am – 5pm) in either Eastern or Central Time.
