This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Reporting to the Service Director, the Traveling Wind Farm Service Technician plays a crucial role in delivering operational support across our national fleet.
β’ This position is essential for maintaining site performance, providing on-site technical guidance, and facilitating quick troubleshooting and support for up-tower repairs on mechanical assets.
β’ You will act as a liaison between site management, internal engineering teams, and our clients to ensure optimal turbine availability and fleet efficiency.
β’ Frequent travel to various wind farm sites will be a requirement of this role.
β’ At a minimum, you must possess a current Mechanical Trade Certificate, Construction Industry White Card, and Current First Aid/CPR certification.
β’ Previous experience in the Onshore Wind sector or a similar heavy industry (minimum of five years) is highly desirable.
β’ Proficiency in fault-finding for mechanical and hydraulic equipment is essential.
β’ You should be trained to an intermediate level in computer skills.
β’ Capability to climb wind turbines and perform physically demanding tasks at heights is mandatory.
β’ Experience working in remote locations and independently is expected.
β’ Willingness to travel more than 65% of the year is required.
