Traveling Retail Construction Superintendent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring that execution, safety, and quality standards are upheld throughout each phase.

• Manage daily operations on the job site from mobilization to project completion.

• Analyze project manuals, drawings, and specifications to facilitate effective execution.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, manage schedules, and organize site logistics to achieve project deadlines.

• Identify potential risks, adjust plans accordingly, and implement solutions to maintain project momentum.

• Ensure that all work aligns with design intentions while remaining adaptable to field conditions.

• Lead the processes for RFIs, inspections, and permits through to project closeout.

• Maintain precise daily reporting, including progress updates and photographic documentation.

• Oversee the final completion of the project and the handoff to the client.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity within the construction industry.

• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant trade or field environment.

• Strong knowledge of commercial or retail construction processes.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications.

• Familiarity with project management software (Procore, PlanGrid, Autodesk Build preferred).

• Willingness to travel frequently and work nights/weekends as needed.

• Must be able to pass MVR, background checks, and drug screenings.
