Traveling Retail Construction Superintendent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring that execution, safety, and quality standards are upheld at every stage.

• Manage daily job site operations from mobilization to project completion.

• Analyze project manuals, drawings, and specifications to facilitate execution.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, manage schedules, and handle site logistics to meet project deadlines.

• Identify potential risks, adapt plans, and implement solutions to ensure continuous progress.

• Ensure all work complies with design intent while making necessary adjustments to accommodate field conditions.

• Lead Requests for Information (RFIs), inspections, and permitting processes through to project closeout.

• Maintain detailed daily reports, including updates on progress and photographic documentation.

• Supervise the final stages of project completion and the handoff to clients.

• This position involves approximately 20% hands-on work to assist with project execution as needed.

• Direct field staff and subcontractors to guarantee productivity and accountability.

• Maintain project timelines and proactively manage any delays that arise.

• Uphold safety standards and facilitate weekly toolbox talks.

• Inspect work to ensure it meets quality, accuracy, and compliance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity within the construction industry.

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant trade or field environment.

• Strong comprehension of commercial or retail construction processes.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications effectively.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Procore, PlanGrid, or Autodesk Build is preferred.

• Willingness to travel extensively and work during nights and weekends as needed.

• Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, background investigation, and drug screening.
