This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Serving as a key member of a dedicated ICI Team.
• Engaging professionally and effectively with clients, architects, engineers, design partners, subcontractors, trades, and internal team members.
• Overseeing the daily operations of complex project sites within the retail, restaurant, and automotive sectors, ensuring high-quality outcomes through proficient resource and construction process management.
• Upholding a safe work environment by applying proper housekeeping practices and safety standards, enforcing safe work habits, and adhering to OSHA and relevant state-level regulations.
• Monitoring and inspecting ongoing work against designs, plans, specifications, subcontracts/scopes, shop drawings, and overall craftsmanship.
• Mitigating project risks by meticulously documenting and managing job site details, providing daily progress reports, conducting weekly site meetings and inspections, creating six-week look-ahead schedules, and managing the overall project timeline.
• Nurturing client relationships by meeting and managing expectations, professionally addressing concerns, and escalating issues when necessary.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory construction experience at a GC/CM firm.
• Strong professional communication skills.
• Capacity to devise innovative solutions to intricate challenges.
• Results-oriented approach with an ability to effectively manage and follow up on multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Windows PC and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), along with Windows File Management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Proven supervisory and management skills to inspire and lead people and teams.
• Procore experience or certification is a plus.
• Certifications, licenses, and registrations such as Walmart Safety, Employment, Waste, Stormwater Compliance Certification, or the ability to acquire them.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• OSHA 30 Hour Certification or the ability to obtain it.
