This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The FCQM will oversee overall quality control and possess the authority to make decisions regarding FCQM matters, which includes maintaining an effective quality management system (QMS).
• The FCQM will be present on-site (full-time) during construction when work is ongoing.
• The FCQM is accountable for ensuring the overall efficiency of the Quality System for a specific project.
• Planning the necessary project quality controls as dictated by the BRPH construction & integrated services (C&IS) quality systems and contract obligations.
• Fully executing all provisions of the BRPH C&IS Quality System and related documentation on the project.
• Overseeing the operation of the BRPH C&IS Quality System on the project.
• Implementing and managing all stages of quality control.
• Communicating quality requirements specific to the project to all relevant departments, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers.
• Ensuring that the Quality System is established and executed by individuals whose work impacts quality.
• Monitoring the progress of activities.
• Ensuring the upkeep of the C&IS Quality System.
• Serving as the project's quality liaison with external parties regarding quality matters.
• Reporting to project and senior management on the performance of the C&IS Quality System, including areas for improvement.
• Reviewing and approving records pertaining to the project C&IS Quality System.
• Reviewing and approving quality-related contract submissions for the project.
• Managing all inspection and quality control activities for the project.
• Controlling corrective actions.
• Addressing quality nonconformances.
• 5-7 years of experience as a construction project engineer, general construction superintendent on similar projects, or as a licensed professional engineer or registered architect.
• Certification as a USACE/NAVFAC Certified Construction Quality Control Manager is required, or the ability to obtain certification within one year of hire.
• Vertical experience is preferred.
• Certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Procore is required.
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Basic working knowledge of AI is necessary.
• Must possess a current and valid US Passport without restrictions.
