This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Conduct performance assurance (PA) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on complex and detailed biomedical equipment.
• Install, repair, and calibrate intricate biomedical equipment.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment issues, and any customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with, guide, and document the activities of subcontractors, vendors, and external service technicians to ensure effective service delivery.
• Maintain biomedical knowledge through continuous training and education.
• Guarantee the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database.
• Associate degree in a technical or electronics field or equivalent experience is required.
• Technical Certification (CBET) is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering setting.
• Proficient computer skills are essential, including the ability to manage a system, interpret error codes, defragment hard drives, replace power supplies, and understand computer codes.
• A valid driver’s license is required; variable travel may be necessary depending on the primary site, which may require the use of a personal vehicle.
