This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Transform strategy into action: Collaborate closely with the Head of Supply to convert company priorities into a practical regional supply plan.
• Own the regional supply landscape: Analyze the current state of our supply network, pinpoint critical gaps, and define necessary actions to enhance commercial impact and regional profitability.
• Streamline and expand: Work in partnership with TPDA, TXM, and Sales & Ops to refine digital supply chains, boost operational efficiency, and increase profitability.
• Broaden the portfolio: Identify and contract new suppliers to diversify travel product categories within your territory and create additional revenue opportunities.
• Negotiate top-tier terms: Obtain market-leading rates, override structures, and contract conditions that significantly influence margin performance.
• Integrate market insights: Bring in new industry contacts and utilize your network to ensure Tourlane stays ahead of competitors.
• Anticipate challenges: Foresee risks to both current and future supply chains — such as market fluctuations, supplier dependencies, and mix-and-match threats — and develop feasible alternative solutions.
• Achieve KPIs: Propel growth across revenue, conversion rates, margins, and digitization through an effectively executed supply strategy.
• Monitor and deliver: Establish clear quarterly milestones that align with company-wide objectives, including new product launches, expansion into the US market, digitization, and sustainable profitability.
• Mid to senior-level experience in travel supply, including DMC, bedbanks, OTAs, and tour operators.
• Extensive knowledge of supply procurement and contracting in package holiday travel (terms & conditions, payment processes, credit limits, cancellations).
• Proven success in negotiating rates and commercial override agreements.
• Strong comprehension of travel product categories and rate structures within the supply chain.
• Solid understanding of digital supply and API integration.
• Capability to create upside/downside scenario models and develop viable alternatives.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in English.
