Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance and organize travel arrangements for corporate clients, including both individuals and groups.

• Perform analysis and research on travel alternatives while proactively identifying traveler needs to promote additional services.

• Coordinate and book domestic and international business travel, managing varying levels of complexity for air, road, rail, and lodging.

• Utilize one of our Global Distribution Systems (GDS).

• Ensure adherence to clients’ established travel policies, service provider guidelines, and regulatory standards.

• Employ effective telephone service techniques and respond to special customer requests.

• Safeguard against fraudulent callers attempting to book trips after hours by adhering to our security protocols.

• Collaborate with your team to mentor, coach, and provide constructive feedback aimed at enhancing service levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong commitment to excellence in client service, including the proactive anticipation of needs.

• Proficient in GDS systems (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus).

• Over 3 years of experience in corporate travel, encompassing fares, ticketing, car rentals, hotel bookings, air, and rail travel.

• Experience managing VIP Corporate Travel is essential.

• Exceptional professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Act with integrity and protect personal traveler information.

• Ability to resolve customer issues swiftly and independently or in collaboration with suppliers.

• Willingness to partner and provide feedback.
