Environmental Health and Safety Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients.

• Exhibit and convey outstanding industry and regulatory expertise through onsite field audits, employee training sessions, and regulatory engagements.

• Mitigate risks to enhance profitability for clients.

• Create a quarterly visitation schedule to optimize travel efficiency based on local and remote client groupings and the frequency of services provided.

• Assist with and/or produce various compliance documentation as necessary.

• Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of accident prevention programs, policies, and procedures.

• Aid in the communication and execution of environmental management compliance systems.

• Foster the continuous growth of the company by delivering outstanding customer service.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Safety Studies, or related fields is preferred.

• A minimum of three years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety is preferred.

• Must possess the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels within the organization, both internally and externally.

• Capable of public speaking in forums with audiences of up to 300 participants at times.

• Ability to proactively engage and communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders within client organizations.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and collaborating within team environments.

• Skilled at meeting deadlines, managing multiple tasks, and interacting professionally with customers and external contacts of the company.

• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently.

• Proficient in computer skills, including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, Microsoft Outlook, and mobile applications.

• Must be willing to travel overnight, totaling approximately 2-3 weeks per quarter.
