Transition Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning and execution of transition activities necessary for implementing solutions into operational use.

• Facilitate coordination among stakeholders, schedules, dependencies, and readiness activities to ensure the successful adoption of new capabilities.

• Guarantee operational continuity and alignment between implementation and sustainment efforts.

• Direct transition planning and execution for FMBT conversion and interface workstreams.

• Create and manage the transition strategy, timeline, project plan, methodology, roles and responsibilities, risk management approach, and updates to the risk log.

• Organize knowledge transfer, assess current-state, maintain continuity of in-flight conversion/interface work, conduct mock/final conversion transitions, manage break-fix tasks, and ensure operational readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain and retain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree is required.

• A minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in transition planning, stakeholder coordination, readiness management, dependency tracking, and/or alignment from implementation to sustainment.

• Experience with Momentum/iFAMS, Agile/SAFe PI cadence, runbooks, knowledge-transfer playbooks, federal financial systems, conversion/interface transition, change management, and coordination across multiple vendors is preferred.
