Transactional Attorney

📋 Description

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises across various commercial agreements.

• Assess and analyze AI-generated responses to contract-related scenarios, offering comprehensive legal feedback to enhance model accuracy and reasoning.

• Create objective evaluation criteria, scoring rubrics, and quality standards for evaluating AI performance in contract drafting and negotiation activities.

• Work alongside multidisciplinary product, research, and engineering teams to enhance AI training data, legal guidelines, and best practices for contract review processes.

• Utilize practical legal judgment to identify contractual risks, ambiguities, and negotiation tactics within intricate commercial agreements.

• Share subject matter expertise to improve AI systems aimed at legal research, contract review, and transactional analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• A minimum of 3 years of in-house legal experience with a focus on technology transactions.

• Significant experience in drafting, negotiating, reviewing, and redlining commercial agreements, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of translating legal knowledge into structured, actionable feedback.

• Proven interest in legal innovation and emerging technologies.

• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
