This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Serve as the main point of contact and intermediary between clients, the Branch Manager, Branch Sales Manager, and/or designated Loan Originator(s).
• Assess documentation received within 24 hours for any discrepancies, omissions, verified income calculations, asset verification, and make necessary updates in Encompass based on confirmed information; promptly inform Loan Originators of any discrepancies identified in documentation.
• Monitor all requested documents within Encompass.
• Work together with Loan Originators to resolve issues related to files and documents.
• Execute DU, organize and submit files, and manage requests and clearance of conditions.
• Effectively meet deadlines while handling multiple assignments/projects.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage with both borrowers and realtors.
• Open to working flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience is preferred.
• Preferred experience in current conventional fixed and adjustable-rate mortgages, HELOC, and construction loan processing or origination.
• Familiarity with RESPA and all regulations related to mortgage and consumer lending, as well as loan documents, is preferred.
• Experience with Encompass is required.
• State and Federal NMLS License is desired.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in DU, LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows.
