
Training Specialist, Technical Writer – Data Center Cooling Solutions

• Conduct both onsite and virtual training sessions for key clients regarding the installation, operation, and maintenance of our data center cooling solutions.
• Create and present training materials, such as manuals, presentations, and hands-on demonstrations.
• Lead interactive training sessions utilizing demonstrations, scenarios, and guided practices instead of solely lecture-based methods, traveling to customer or training venues as required.
• Utilize the LMS for managing the setup of virtual courses, enrollment, attendance tracking, completions, and surveys.
• Offer customers technical support and mentorship during installation and maintenance phases, in collaboration with other members of the Services team.
• Work together with sales and customer service teams to identify training needs and design tailored training programs.
• Ensure that customers are adequately trained and confident in using our products to improve their efficiency and satisfaction.
• Keep current knowledge of our products and services to deliver accurate and relevant training.
• Modify and maintain existing training materials as needed for clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness for learners.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback to continually enhance training programs and materials.
• Travel to customer sites as necessary to conduct onsite training.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in providing technical product training and technical writing, preferably in a customer-facing capacity within the data center industry.
• Ability to comprehend complex technical concepts from manuals or other resources and translate them into learner-friendly content.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with an LMS or remote training platforms.
• Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple training sessions concurrently.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to customer locations as needed.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Ability to work 100% remotely from a home office located anywhere in the US, preferably in CT or ET time zones.
