This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and standardize training and competency-management processes, including curriculum development, certification pathways, and documentation practices.
• Oversee the Learning Management System and other training platforms, which involves course creation, enrollment monitoring, completion reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Take ownership of the training budget, calendar, and vendor relationships, encompassing venues, faculty honoraria, simulation labs, and LMS platforms.
• Organize and coordinate physician training, case observations, proctoring programs, hands-on labs, and educational sessions.
• Collaborate with key opinion leaders to enhance physician-to-physician education programs.
• Create and improve training materials, curricula, and certification pathways for the WiSE System.
• Track training metrics, certification completion rates, and trainee feedback data; prepare reports and analyses.
• Manage onboarding and certification processes for field operations personnel, Field Clinical Specialists, and sales representatives.
• Collaborate with clinical, marketing, sales, regulatory, quality, medical affairs, and R&D teams.
• Provide mentorship to Field Clinical Specialists and other training staff.
• Assist with LMS enhancements and the development of digital training content.
• Support off-site physician education programs, cadaver labs, and KOL training events.
• Offer field and physician insights for product development, clinical trial protocols, and future training strategies.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, workshops, and professional education forums as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, nursing, or a related field (or equivalent clinical experience).
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the medical device industry, training operations, program/process management, or a related area.
• Proven experience in developing training curricula, certification pathways, and structured onboarding programs.
• Practical experience in administering or creating courses within a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Background in developing training content across e-learning, video, and live/virtual sessions.
• Experience in managing training documentation to ensure audit readiness.
• Knowledge of FDA-regulated training materials and documentation requirements.
• Understanding of the Sunshine Act and AdvaMed Code compliance landscape.
• Strong skills in project/program management, organization, and vendor management.
• Clinical or technical experience related to implantable cardiac procedures or work within CRM, Structural Heart, Heart Failure, and/or Electrophysiology is highly preferred.
• Experience in supporting commercial launches of innovative implantable cardiac devices is preferred.
• Capability to design, standardize, and maintain audit-ready training and competency documentation.
• Ability to design, build, and manage multi-modal learning solutions.
• Proficiency in managing budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent collaboration skills across functions.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to develop training metrics and performance analytics.
• A working understanding of cardiac pacing, intracardiac imaging, implant procedures, and cardiac device therapy strategies is a significant advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30–40% of the time, including occasional overnight trips.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
