This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the implementation of Exol’s workforce training initiative during site launches, ramp-ups, steady-state operations, and ongoing improvement activities.
• Provide and enhance training through classroom instruction, e-learning, hands-on experiences, and on-the-floor sessions for frontline warehouse personnel, supervisors, trainers, and site leaders.
• Create and sustain an effective train-the-trainer program enabling site leaders and designated trainers to deliver uniform training throughout the network.
• Establish the operational rhythm for onboarding, role qualification, cross-training, refresher training, and readiness for new processes or customer needs.
• Collaborate with Operations to adapt Exol processes, ExOS standards, work instructions, and standard operating procedures into site-level training execution.
• Work alongside HR and the Learning administrator to ensure that assignments, tracking of completions, and learning records align with the field training program.
• Partner with external training/content providers to develop or enhance tailored training materials, videos, job aids, and facilitator guides based on field requirements.
• Collaborate with Safety and Operations to meet MHE/PIT and forklift training mandates, including trainer qualification, certification readiness, and ongoing compliance needs.
• Aid site launches by devising training deployment strategies, validating role readiness, preparing trainers, and ensuring the availability of training materials prior to go-live.
• Monitor and report on training effectiveness, including completion rates, qualification statuses, field adoption, time-to-proficiency, audit results, and learner/site feedback.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Education, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in leading and delivering workforce training programs within warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, fulfillment, or other high-volume operational settings.
• Proficient facilitation skills with experience in delivering classroom, hands-on, and floor-based training to hourly frontline teams and operational leaders.
• Proven experience in developing or scaling train-the-trainer programs, role qualification frameworks, cross-training models, or structured onboarding initiatives.
• Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, standard work, safety protocols, quality benchmarks, productivity expectations, and frontline operational routines.
• Capability to convert SOPs, work instructions, process modifications, and operational standards into actionable training plans, job aids, and facilitator guidance.
• Experience collaborating with HR, Operations, Safety, Quality, and third-party training or content development partners.
• Proficient in utilizing LMS data and training records in conjunction with HR or LMS administrators, without being the primary Workday Learning administrator.
• Familiarity with MHE/PIT, forklift, safety, or compliance-oriented training scenarios; forklift trainer certification or the ability to obtain certification is preferred.
• Experience in supporting multi-site or network-level training programs, site launches, ramp-ups, or automated operations is preferred.
• Travel may account for up to 50% of the time.
• Employees must possess a valid driver’s license and the capability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
• Employees are responsible for managing their own credit card and expenses, which will be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
• Must be able to walk/stand for prolonged periods, climb stairs/ladders, and endure warehouse environmental conditions (temperature fluctuations, noise, etc.).
