Training Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Provide both theoretical and practical aircraft type training according to approved training programs, EASA Part-147 and Part-66 regulations, as well as company guidelines, in both on-site and online formats.

• Carry out training sessions throughout Asia, traveling to customer sites as necessary to facilitate training delivery and meet customer requirements.

• Assist with examination-related tasks, including serving as an examiner or invigilator, and play a role in developing examination question banks.

• Contribute to course planning and the ongoing enhancement of training syllabi, training needs analyses (TNAs), and training resources.

• Work collaboratively with the training team to ensure the delivery of high-quality training, regulatory adherence, and exceptional customer satisfaction, while also maintaining personal competency and instructor qualifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant aviation education with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance.

• At least 3 years of experience as an aircraft type training instructor under EASA Part-147 and Part-66, or an equivalent regulatory framework.

• A valid EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence or a comparable licence issued by a national aviation authority, with experience on A320 and B737 aircraft types (additional type ratings are beneficial).

• In-depth knowledge of EASA Part-66, Part-147, ICAO standards, and aircraft maintenance training principles.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of delivering technical training to varied audiences, with a readiness to travel extensively within Asia.

• Professional proficiency in English, strong computer skills, and a proactive, organized, and results-driven approach to work.
