This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Design and organize technical training materials into modular and scalable curricula that uphold high standards across all Tiko markets.

• Advance our learning resources by incorporating digital-forward tools, including mobile-based learning and WhatsApp-driven polls, as well as LMS-style content.

• Ensure that global training frameworks are flexible, guaranteeing that "technical" remains accessible for our diverse end users and partners.

• Serve as the global technical authority for over 10 country trainers, providing them with mentorship and the resources needed to conduct world-class sessions.

• Influence and align country-level teams to ensure the training is executed consistently and with excellence.

• Establish a collaborative platform for trainers across Africa to exchange best practices, address shared challenges, and eliminate "siloed" thinking.

• Implement comprehensive evaluation frameworks to assess training effectiveness—moving beyond mere "attendance" to demonstrating "readiness."

• Supply the global leadership team with clear data on trainer performance and learner outcomes to foster continuous improvement.

• Continuously experiment with methods of training our "triple threat" health offers to enhance retention and real-world application.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of focused experience in Training and Curriculum Design.

• A portfolio showcasing materials you have developed from the ground up, not just those you have delivered.

• Extensive experience within the NGO or Development sector is crucial.

• You possess an understanding of the complexities of training in remote areas and how to engage learners with diverse educational backgrounds.

• Familiarity with digital learning platforms (LMS), mobile-based learning tools, or rapid authoring software (e.g., Articulate Rise).

• A proven history of supporting trainers or delivering programs in low-resource environments.

• Experience across various African markets is a notable advantage.

• A university degree in Education, Social Sciences, Human Resources, or a related field.
