This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• This position is accountable for the design, coordination, and implementation of onboarding and training programs that enhance employee performance, ensure compliance, and foster professional development.

• Collaborate with leadership to assess and identify training needs.

• Lead learning initiatives and evaluate the effectiveness of programs.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of onboarding and training programs for GMIC.

• Collect customer feedback and program evaluations to provide recommendations for necessary improvements.

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure that objectives, timelines, and goals are achieved.

• Create and oversee training schedules, ensuring attendance of all required employees at mandatory training sessions.

• Maintain accurate training records, monitor progress, and ensure proper storage for compliance and audit purposes.

• Support facilitation by moderating training sessions.

• Validate training solutions to ensure that content remains current, relevant, and aligned with the needs of learners and the department.

• Conduct training sessions that include lectures, demonstrations, group discussions, and hands-on activities.

• Ensure that all training methods engage participants, promote employee professional development, and ultimately enhance employee performance.

• Participate in project meetings as necessary for initiatives that include the development and facilitation of training.

• Identify and establish training requirements by closely collaborating with leadership and conducting needs assessments.

• Support change initiatives through timely and comprehensive training programs.

• Clearly communicate changes in company policies and procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred experience in auto liability and bodily injury claims handling.

• Demonstrates a solid understanding of processes and procedures in the insurance industry.

• Familiarity with Guidewire Policy Management Software is required.

• Knowledge of training facilitation, adult learning theories, and instructional design principles.

• Proficient in PC usage and capable of utilizing relevant software tools.

• Strong understanding of effective communication and motivational skills.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Strong collaborator across various business units.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and demands while adapting to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.

• Capable of explaining concepts and processes in a clear manner to a diverse audience.

• Proactive and self-driven individual with a strong capacity to learn and adapt quickly.

• Ability to mentor, coach, and develop others positively.

• Review and conduct evaluations with team members to offer performance feedback.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Preferred 2+ years of professional experience in the insurance industry.

• Preferred 1+ years of professional experience in corporate training and performance management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.

• Must possess a current Property & Casualty License/Insurance Producer License in at least one U.S. State or be able to obtain it within 30 days of the start date.

• Ability to utilize AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to aid in daily work tasks.

• Skills in assessing AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.

• Experience in integrating AI into workflows to enhance efficiency or insights.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation.

• Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethical considerations and data protection.
