Instructional Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement instructional strategies and engaging course materials to fulfill training needs.

• Analyze training and media requirements thoroughly.

• Establish training objectives, assessment methods, and educationally sound training resources.

• Maintain the accuracy of task analyses, training prerequisites, training structures, instructional resources, and evaluation strategies.

• Design and produce computer-based, web-based, and other technology-driven learning solutions.

• Construct flow diagrams and storyboards.

• Develop instructional lessons that are pedagogically robust across various delivery methods.

• Work in collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure technical precision.

• Use CPM/LOM or other NETC authoring tools as instructed.

• Execute individual production tasks such as assessment creation and course revisions.

• Create workflows utilizing Microsoft Office 365 applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in education or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of relevant experience.

• Expertise in Microsoft Office 365.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in designing and developing Navy training or curriculum.

• Must be a US citizen.

• Ability to pass a qualifying background check to satisfy IT Level II Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility.

• Travel requirements are less than 10%.
