Trainer / Learning Coach – PLC Programming

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• As a member of WBS TRAINING, you embody your subject area with enthusiasm and insight.

• Your position as a learning coach centers on enhancing the competencies of participants.

• In your teaching method, you see yourself as both a source of knowledge and a supportive learning coach — Learning 4.0!

• This role entails subject-specific instruction at the Dresden‑North location (20%) and remote work from the WBS LearnSpace 3D® (80%).

• You will prepare and design lesson-related learning materials that align with the curriculum.

• Conducting assessments to measure competency growth is part of your responsibilities.

• Proficiency in the German language of instruction at a C2 level is required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training or qualifications as a technician or engineer in automation technology.

• Proficient in programming, troubleshooting, and the commissioning of automation systems.

• Specific experience with Siemens PLC controllers programming using TIA (including technology and communication objects; visualization and machine safety).

• Familiarity with network technology is essential.

• Proficient application of TIA knowledge (PROFIBUS; PROFINET; AS‑i; OPC UA...).

• Understanding of control engineering and measurement technology is required.

• Basic knowledge of the SIMIT software is an added advantage.

• AEVO certification or equivalent pedagogical training is preferred.

• Methodical and didactic skills in delivering teaching content are necessary.

• An independent and structured work style with a strong sense of personal responsibility is expected.

• Strong communication skills and a passion for teamwork are essential.
