Trainer for CAD, Artificial Intelligence – Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• Lead the way in shaping the future of digital design.

• Provide hands-on knowledge about CAD systems, Generative Design, and the effective application of AI in the field of engineering.

• As an instructor, you will guide mechanical engineering professionals as they transition into contemporary digital product development.

• Showcase the current productive applications of AI in design, product development, and CAD workflows.

• Assist participants in enhancing their design tasks through AI support.

• Enhance modern CAD and engineering workflows while responsibly integrating AI into daily professional practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree or technical training in mechanical engineering, product development, design engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in design, product development, or CAD engineering.

• Excellent proficiency in at least one professional CAD system (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Fusion).

• Hands-on experience with parametric design and modern CAD workflows.

• Strong grasp of current AI applications within the engineering and CAD sectors.

• Proven experience in effectively utilizing generative AI solutions such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar systems.

• Familiarity with AI-enhanced features in contemporary CAD systems, including Generative Design or automated optimization.

• Capability to professionally evaluate and critically assess AI-generated outcomes.

• Confident understanding of the opportunities, limitations, risks, and quality standards associated with generative AI.

• Experience in teaching technical content to adults or a similar training background.

• Ideally, familiarity with Generative Design and topology optimization.

• Awareness of the latest advancements in AI for engineering.

• Experience in analyzing and refining design processes.

• Knowledge of parametric modeling and automated variant generation.

• Proficient in prompt engineering for technical challenges.

• Ability to integrate AI into existing engineering workflows.

• Experience in assessing the technical feasibility, manufacturability, and functionality of AI-generated solutions.

• Understanding of data protection, copyright, and responsible AI usage in a corporate environment.

• Background in coaching, project work, or practical knowledge transfer.

• Ideally, experience with Autodesk Fusion Generative Design or similar solutions.

• Knowledge of Autodesk AI, SolidWorks AI, CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE AI, or equivalent platforms.

• Experience with BIM-supported AI applications.

• Familiarity with Dynamo, Grasshopper, or other visual scripting tools.

• Knowledge of automation tools like Python, Power Automate, or n8n.

• Understanding of digital product development concepts such as Digital Twin, PLM, or simulation.

• Experience with AI-assisted documentation and knowledge management.

• Familiarity with modern cloud-CAD systems.

• AEVO qualification or a comparable pedagogical credential.
