Trainer for Building Life Cycle Assessment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• As a freelance trainer at WBS TRAINING, you embody your field with enthusiasm and foresight.

• The primary focus of your role as a trainer is the enhancement of course participants' competencies.

• In your lesson planning, you serve both as a source of input and as a facilitator of learning — embracing Learning 4.0!

• This encompasses subject-specific instruction from your home office within the WBS LearnSpace 3D ®.

• Utilization of diverse teaching methods for course design is essential.

• You will prepare and create course-related educational materials in alignment with the curriculum.

• Conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for both residential and non-residential properties is a key responsibility.

• You will present case studies from projects, training experiences, or project reports related to sustainable and energy-efficient construction.

• A strong command of the German language (C2 level) is required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Building Services Engineering (TGA) is essential.

• Several years of professional experience in building assessments under QNG and within the Climate-Friendly New Construction initiative.

• Experience in preparing and analyzing Life Cycle Assessments using Hottgenroth, ECO-CAD, and ETU-Planner.

• An additional qualification in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for buildings is necessary.

• Recognition as an energy efficiency expert is required.

• A mindset that reflects entrepreneurial thinking and action.

• Initial exposure to internal training, continuing education, or presenting case studies is preferred.

• Possessing methodological and didactic skills for teaching content is crucial.

• An independent and organized working style, coupled with a high level of personal accountability, is expected.
