📋 Description

• Select article topics from an available pool

• Conduct research and create original travel articles

• Present article ideas to our Editorial team

• Be a committed and regular contributor to the website

• Adhere to TheTravel's general Editorial Guidelines while delivering unique and high-quality content

• Generate articles promptly to ensure that the latest industry news and the most engaging content are consistently accessible to TheTravel's dedicated readers

• Operate under tight deadlines and ensure timely submission of tasks

• Collaborate with the Lead Editor to efficiently implement feedback

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related discipline

• 3 years of experience in creating travel and related content

• Deep understanding of and strong enthusiasm for the travel industry, particularly the latest travel content

• Knowledge of SEO practices

• Familiarity with a custom CMS is preferred

• Background in the rail industry or experience as a long-distance rail traveler with 3+ years

• Familiar with Amtrak routes, classes, booking specifics, and scenic lines from personal experience
