Game Localization, Creative Writing – Simplified Chinese to Japanese

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Translate and localize gaming content from Simplified Chinese to Japanese, incorporating creative writing.

• Work collaboratively with both the localization and development teams.

• Address translation requirements and assist in resolving challenges during the translation process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional writing skills at a near professional or literary level.

• Strong understanding of Japanese writing styles and expressive techniques.

• Demonstrated expertise in gaming translation (localization) and LQA.

• Experience with story-driven or narrative games.

• Background in working across various game types or genres.

• Prior experience in crafting original stories, novels, books, or scripts is highly preferred.
