This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Identify, isolate, document, and resolve any localization or linguistic issues, confirming fixes through the use of testing tools or databases.
• Adhere to and complete Test Cases and Checklists to conduct targeted testing and execute relevant testing processes and procedures.
• Draft bug descriptions in accordance with company standards and client specifications.
• Utilize knowledge of user preferences within the Target Market to influence the client’s product offerings.
• Actively seek out gaps in test coverage.
• Collaborate with partner teams in the product testing process.
• Provide constructive feedback on gameplay, enjoyment, and game balance, leveraging insights into the target market.
• Perform any additional tasks deemed appropriate for the role.
• A regular gamer with a passion for the video game industry.
• Native proficiency in Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) (testing language), demonstrating excellent spelling and grammar.
• Strong command of the English language, as instructions, testing documentation, and team communications will be conducted in English.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in computer science, game design, or a related field is a significant advantage.
• Exceptional attention to detail, a positive attitude, and strong work ethics.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of digital technologies (mobile devices, tablets, browser tools, etc.).
• Capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• A proactive, positive approach with the ability to thrive and deliver in a fast-paced, innovative, and creative setting.
