QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Execute manual, exploratory, and regression testing.

• Take ownership of and enhance our Cypress end-to-end automation suite.

• Develop and sustain API test automation utilizing Postman or Playwright API.

• Perform fundamental performance testing and suggest enhancements.

• Utilize Sentry and Hotjar to identify issues, recognize patterns, and enhance user experience.

• Conduct in-depth technical investigations using AWS tracing.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to tackle root causes and mitigate production-level risks.

• Implement AI-in-the-loop validation workflows.

• Leverage AI-assisted tools for test creation, bug reproduction, and scenario generation.

• Contribute to quality assurance documentation, processes, and standards.

• Offer internal customer support for product-related issues and QA insights.

• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance release reliability and speed.

• Foster a quality culture and advocate for best practices in engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in API test automation (Postman, Playwright API).

• Significant experience with Cypress for end-to-end automation.

• Comprehension of the fundamentals of performance testing.

• Proficiency in utilizing monitoring and user-behavior tools such as Sentry or Hotjar for issue investigation and pattern recognition.

• Familiarity with AWS tracing.

• Knowledge of AI tools to expedite QA and validation workflows.

• Capability to work independently and excel in uncertain situations.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Leadership mindset with the ability to say no to maintain focus.

• Experience with B2B platforms, technical QA environments, or marketplace-style systems.
