This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take charge of outbound activities directed at trading counterparties, including proprietary trading firms, high-frequency trading companies, market makers, quantitative funds, OTC desks, and onchain-native trading entities. Develop a comprehensive map of volume movers and establish connections to engage with them. Gain insights into the trading activities of each desk and their requirements for routing flows onchain, such as execution quality, order types, margin and collateral handling, listings, and fees. Create compelling offers that secure flow and finalize deals on Solana venues. This is the essence of the role.
β’ Build and oversee counterparty relationships by negotiating terms and rebates, collaborating with the Trading and DeFi teams on agreements and economic arrangements. Work closely with application and protocol teams to communicate the needs of counterparties for flow routing (including order types, margin treatment, listings, and collateral support) and advocate for their development and prioritization. After onboarding a counterparty, manage the relationship effectively, providing escalation support, VIP assistance, and ensuring that initial trades evolve into sustained activity rather than inactive accounts.
β’ Attract allocators and liquidity providers β the capital essential for seeding and enhancing Solana markets. Engage allocators, funds, and significant LPs onchain and ensure their continued participation. Given that much of the global institutional business flows through the US, this role extends beyond the Americas.
β’ Take ownership of performance metrics β track volume and open interest on Solana-native venues, monitor active trading counterparties, onboarded desks and firms, and capital brought in from allocators and LPs, as well as return on investment from programs.
β’ A proven closer with an established network β you have existing relationships with major traders, allocators, and LPs, who recognize your authority and take your calls.
β’ Proficient in trading concepts β you possess a solid understanding of market microstructure, perpetuals funding and margin, spot liquidity, and the impact of execution quality and incentives on flow. You can confidently engage with desk heads and quantitative analysts.
β’ Familiar with DeFi to establish credibility β you can discuss topics such as collateral, margin, capital efficiency, and how lending and looping contribute to leverage and volume, holding discussions with desks that utilize these concepts.
β’ A demonstrated history of generating volume or flow β whether at an exchange, market maker, proprietary trading firm, fund, or protocol. You can identify specific flow for which you were directly accountable.
β’ A proactive operator β located in the US, capable of managing operations across the Americas and coordinating across EU and APAC time zones.
β’ Competitive salary
β’ Flexible work arrangements
