Trade Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Achieve sales targets at the top-line level based on division and local market objectives by promoting DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, and PORTERCABLE brands to end-user customers.

• Build, nurture, and sustain vital relationships with end-user partners through tailored product and service solutions.

• Oversee CORE and other SBD user contracts and programs related to user responsibilities.

• Educate and guide the local market team on the End User development process.

• Collaborate with Channel Marketing to execute and manage marketing initiatives effectively.

• Utilize SalesForce.com as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and planning tool.

• Share successes and setbacks promptly to refine processes for achieving success with key accounts and opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields is preferred.

• Relevant experience in the construction field may substitute for formal higher education.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales or Marketing within the Construction Supplies sector.

• A proven history of delivering results and experience in selling to high-level executives, C-Suite, and jobsite directors is preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

• Capability to combine empathy with determination to achieve exceptional results.

• A valid Driver's License and the physical capacity to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
