This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the input, upkeep, and precision of trade plans within Confido.
• Collaborate with Sales to guarantee that retailer trade plans are accurately captured, updated, and represented in the system.
• Monitor planned promotions, expenditure assumptions, timing, anticipated volume impact, and actual outcomes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of trade plans and promotional activities across various accounts.
• Analyze actual results in comparison to planned expectations, including POS performance, volume impact, timing, and overall trade effectiveness.
• Manage the forecast output associated with trade plans, ensuring that promotional activities are accurately reflected in expected business performance.
• Forecast POS impact based on intended trade activities, retailer assumptions, historical data, and current business trends.
• Collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Demand Planning to align trade plans with the wider demand forecast.
• Identify risks, opportunities, gaps, and inconsistencies in trade plans and escalate or follow up with the relevant business owners.
• Provide reporting and analysis to aid leadership in understanding what is effective, what is not, and where modifications may be required.
• Act as the primary owner for trade plan data, reporting, and measurement.
• Support enhancements related to trade planning, trade fund management, forecasting, and promotional effectiveness.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure that trade plans are precise, timely, and actionable.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required; a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in trade planning, sales planning, trade promotion management, revenue growth management, sales operations, demand planning, or a related role.
• Solid understanding of trade fund management and retail promotional planning.
• Experience using trade promotion management systems; familiarity with Confido is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, including the ability to work with large datasets, create reports, analyze trends, and convert data into clear business insights.
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to link trade activity, sales performance, POS trends, and forecast impact.
• Experience in CPG, consumer products, retail, supplements, health and wellness, or a related industry is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across functions with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple accounts, plans, and timelines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information succinctly and directly.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where accuracy, urgency, and business impact are crucial.
