This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Create and implement omnichannel trade marketing strategies aimed at increasing awareness, acquisition, and engagement through retail and distribution channels in France/Southern Europe.
• Adapt global marketing initiatives and assets to fit regional market trends, cultural differences, and the needs of retail partners, ensuring brand consistency at every touchpoint.
• Collaborate with retailer marketing and commercial teams to strengthen WHOOP's brand positioning throughout France/Southern Europe.
• Prepare, design, and launch effective point-of-sale (POS) materials, in-store displays, as well as ATL and digital activations across social media, CRM, and online platforms.
• Develop and oversee training programs for retail associates to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement.
• Analyze campaign performance data to inform optimizations for future initiatives.
• Plan and execute trade and retail events, including partner activations, experiential pop-ups, and trade initiatives to boost brand visibility, drive sell-through, and support product launches in the region.
• Track account and activity performance, using sales and market insights to guide trade marketing strategies, refine partner pipelines, and maximize ROI across various channels.
• Manage budgets and external vendors to ensure the efficient and high-quality execution of marketing campaigns and activations.
• Collaborate with the EU Trade Marketing Lead to evaluate European market trends, competitor positioning, pricing trends, and customer needs to provide actionable insights that shape retailer pipelines and marketing strategies.
• Partner with Sales, Brand Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Creative teams to design and implement integrated campaigns, promotional plans, and training initiatives that enhance WHOOP's presence both in-store and online.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with regional clusters to ensure alignment across operations, marketing, product, and finance, ultimately driving commercial success.
• Bilingual in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in additional languages (Spanish or Portuguese) is a plus—please include these in your application.
• Over 5 years of experience in trade marketing or retail marketing, preferably within the healthtech, consumer electronics, or premium consumer goods sectors.
• Familiarity with distributor and third-party retail partner relationships in France/Southern Europe, including support for in-store activations and events.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the French/Southern Europe region with a proven track record of adapting marketing strategies to local market conditions and consumer behavior.
• Demonstrated ability to execute high-quality omnichannel campaigns across both in-store and online platforms.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and making data-driven decisions.
• Strong skills in cross-functional and geographical collaboration, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with key stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) across France & Southern Europe and to visit WHOOP HQ in Boston, MA.
