This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of Tenet’s Ethics and Compliance Program in designated markets.

• Provide leadership in compliance initiatives regarding ethics and suggest necessary controls.

• Work collaboratively with facility and regional leadership to develop and implement ethics, compliance, privacy, and security programs.

• Foster stakeholder relationships and promote a culture of ethics and compliance.

• Act as a resource and sounding board for facility leadership and employees.

• Support the preparation and meetings for the Compliance Committee and/or Board Committee.

• Execute Tenet's education and training programs for employees, contractors, and physicians.

• Coordinate with TPR legal counsel and the Law Department on compliance and legal issues.

• Assist with audits, monitoring, and oversight of processes related to recognized risks.

• Conduct regular site visits utilizing standard tools.

• Supervise corrective actions and monitoring in response to identified issues and audits.

• Implement approved monitoring systems and processes addressing ethics and compliance concerns.

• Manage procedures for reporting suspected fraud and misconduct without fear of retaliation.

• Resolve compliance-related issues in collaboration with team members and corporate personnel.

• Implement hospital compliance work plan initiatives and systems to mitigate compliance and privacy/security challenges.

• Serve as a consultative resource on ethics and compliance issues.


⛳️ Requirements

• Three to five years of progressive compliance experience within hospital, surgical center, and/or clinical practice compliance for a large, diverse healthcare organization.

• Familiarity with compliance process enhancement and federal healthcare program regulations.

• Experience in implementing and managing compliance programs remotely across numerous facilities.

• Background in a hospital, health system, or another regulated healthcare setting.

• Proven experience developing and executing corrective action plans.

• Experience in conducting or overseeing audits and monitoring activities.

• Skilled in developing compliance training and delivering effective presentations.

• Proficient in compliance data analysis, trend reporting, and dashboard usage.

• Demonstrated negotiation abilities and capacity to influence senior stakeholders through indirect authority.

• Exceptional writing and presentation skills that are clear, concise, and persuasive.

• Strong critical thinking and data analytics-driven decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

• Effective leadership and time management skills; capable of leading through influence.

• Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.

• Proficient in information systems, databases, Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other visual systems.

• Strong communication, consensus-building, and analytical abilities.

• Capacity to identify root causes, assess risks, and suggest solutions.

• Comfortable making decisions in uncertain or changing environments.

• Some travel may be required.

• Must successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• CHC certification is required.
