This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research on human resources and employment policies, regulations, and laws across local, state, and federal levels.
• Analyze data to facilitate the development, revision, and enforcement of company policies in alignment with legal and industry standards.
• Create actionable solutions that comply with federal, state, and local laws, as well as industry regulations and company policies.
• Prepare comprehensive memos detailing policy updates and their implications for internal stakeholders.
• Oversee the company’s document and policy management system throughout the entire policy lifecycle.
• Draft new policies and revise existing ones to meet regulatory requirements and organizational needs.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Compile and analyze data for departmental reporting, compliance documentation, and program/policy participation evaluations.
• Participate in meetings to provide insights on compliance and contribute to decision-making processes.
• Engage in special departmental projects as assigned.
• At least one year of experience in researching and summarizing complex information.
• Preferred experience in researching HR-related laws.
• Coursework in research methodologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of business functions and a strong understanding of services, business strategy, policies and procedures, and the job's impact on the organization.
• Ability to gather facts and data relevant to an issue or inquiry.
• Proficiency in understanding, interpreting, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Meticulous attention to detail in work content, processes, and final deliverables.
• Capability to proactively obtain and disseminate information tailored to the target audience.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze tasks, establish goals, develop action plans, and manage time effectively.
