Tower Technician III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Install, inspect, or maintain tower, rooftop, and other cellular site equipment as per various client requirements.

• Execute all tasks safely, ensuring both personal and crew safety by following the procedures outlined in the Health & Safety Manual.

• Set a standard by exemplifying a commitment to safety, cost efficiency, asset management, and professionalism to all indirect reports.

• Oversee, examine, and maintain personal protective gear, including climbing harnesses, protective headgear, climbing tools, and essential safety equipment, while also completing daily logs.

• Adhere to daily planning and preparation set by the foreman to ensure effective travel to the project site and execution of duties.

• Manage equipment and assets, including vehicles, mobile phones, computers, cameras, harnesses, and safety gear.

• Use email and phone as preferred methods for corporate communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-4 years of relevant experience in similar communications tower roles (with no restrictions for obtaining authorized climber certification).

• Hold an Authorized Tower Climber/Rescuer COMTRAIN certificate (or equivalent).

• Must be willing to travel 100% of the time.

• Capability to climb Cell Site structures up to 500’.

• Able to successfully pass the pre-employment procedures (Background Check, Drug Test, and maintain a clean MVR driving record).

• Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds regularly without assistance.

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Availability to work irregular hours and/or respond to emergency call-outs on a 24/7 basis.

• OSHA 10/30 certification is required.

• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
