This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Consistently provide exceptional customer service and ensure traveller satisfaction.
• Offer guidance to our travellers while being accountable for their well-being.
• Continuously enhance your understanding of the visited country, including its culture, religion, current affairs, environment, and more.
• Possess thorough knowledge of hotels, attractions, restaurants, transportation, souvenirs, pricing, and other relevant details.
• Create a network of information sources and contacts that can assist as needed.
• Maintain a valid passport and visa at all times.
• Ensure vaccinations and preventive medication are current.
• Be alert to potential opportunities for G Adventures, such as new destinations, new executives, new markets, or improvements to itineraries.
• Serve as the day-to-day guide, interpreter, and group manager.
• Address your travellers' issues and concerns directly, ensuring their satisfaction is achieved effectively.
• Adhere to the established travel itinerary as closely as possible, making alterations only when necessary.
• Make or reconfirm reservations for lodging, transportation, and activities as required.
• Assist and accompany travellers during optional activities and meals.
• Recommend suitable restaurants, additional transportation needs, and souvenir purchases.
• Maintain daily expense accounts, retain receipts, and keep costs within the provided trip budget.
• Compile a report for each trip in the specified format.
• Keep the Trip notes updated according to the standardized format.
• Train new Leaders as needed, sharing as much trip-related information as possible.
• Provide support to regional offices when requested by their Managers or the Toronto office.
• A passion for Adventure Travel.
• Prior experience living, travelling, studying, or working abroad is a vital requirement.
• Proficiency in the English language is mandatory.
• Knowledge of a region-specific language is also highly important.
• Exceptional Leadership and Communication Skills.
• Resourcefulness.
• Commitment to and awareness of Sustainable Tourism.
• Good health and a high energy level.
• First Aid/CPR Certification.
• Background in basic accounting/budgeting is a plus.
• Computer literate.
