This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.
• Consistently provide exceptional customer service and ensure traveller satisfaction.
• Offer guidance for our travellers, taking responsibility for their welfare.
• Continuously enhance knowledge about the destination, including its culture, religion, current events, environment, etc.
• Serve as the daily guide, interpreter, and group manager.
• Address and resolve traveller issues and concerns directly.
• Adhere to the established travel itinerary as closely as possible.
• Handle reservations for accommodations, transportation, and activities as necessary.
• Assist and accompany travellers during optional activities and meals.
• Recommend suitable dining options to travellers.
• Maintain daily expense records.
• Prepare a report for each trip.
• Keep Trip notes updated in the standardized format.
• Train new Leaders as needed.
• Prior experience living, travelling, studying, or working abroad is a critical requirement.
• Must be legally authorized to work in South East Asia.
• Possession of a Tour Guide License.
• Language proficiency: A strong command of the English language is essential, as all G Adventures tours are conducted in English.
• Knowledge of the region-specific language is also highly valuable.
• Exceptional Leadership and Communication Skills.
• Resourcefulness: We seek individuals who can maintain composure under unpredictable and stressful situations.
• Commitment to and awareness of Sustainable Tourism practices.
• Good Health and High Energy Level.
• Certification in First Aid/CPR.
• Background in basic accounting and budgeting.
• Computer literacy: Proficiency in the Internet, Email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel is required.
• Willingness to travel throughout South East Asia.
• A diverse cultural environment.
• Support through various Team Resource Groups.
