This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Lead and Inspire: Take charge of your group by providing clear information about each destination, sharing your passion for Japan’s captivating culture, and crafting joyful, unforgettable experiences for travelers.

• Plan and Prepare: Stay organized, be familiar with your daily itinerary, and ensure everything operates smoothly. Always have a Plan B ready to adapt to unforeseen circumstances. Engage in training sessions and pre-tour briefings to remain fully prepared.

• Support and Communicate: Assist travelers with their inquiries and deliver exceptional customer service, even in challenging scenarios.

• Ensure Safety and Quality: Make traveler safety a priority and ensure our partners adhere to our quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

• Handle Emergencies: Tackle challenges effectively, maintaining composure under pressure and following established procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Passion & Knowledge: A strong affection for Japan’s culture, people, and history, accompanied by a comprehensive understanding of its traditions, daily life, and current events.

• Language Skills: Proficient in German (C1) for client interactions and competent in Japanese (B2) to assist with tour operations.

• Experience: Residing in Japan currently or having lived here for at least one year, which ensures a deep, personal connection to the country.

• Personal Qualities: Organized, dependable, driven, and solution-oriented when under pressure.

• Team Skills: Collaborative and communicative, exhibiting a positive and professional demeanor.
